Hypertoss was the first handheld electronic game that I worked on at Moose. The brief was really to attempt to modernize the traditional ‘ball in a cup’ game known worldwide. We decided that juggling a ball between multiple cups without a string could be cool. Then adding music to juggle to and a challenge element made it even cooler! We developed 4 game modes targeted at different categories of mastery play, and then branded the product with a street style urban vibe that would appeal to tween boys and girls globally.
